So. Who am I?
"Anneliese van Buren (born in 1988) is the kind of person who knows what she wants, all her life. She was born in Rotterdam (The Netherlands) but raised in a small village, called Rockanje.
When she was nine years old, she wanted to be an actress and so she started doing acting-lessons in Hofplein Theater Rotterdam. During that time she also developed a new passion: Art. She immediately decided that she also wanted to be a Graphic Designer. By then she was eight years old. Sadly she had to quit Hofplein Theater when she was twelve, but she never stopped dreaming. First she went to high-school and tried to forget the time she was on stage, but something was burning inside her and she couldn´t get the ideas out of her head.
At fifteen she started modelling, and she discovered that she enjoys meeting new people and learning from them. She loves the camera and the freedom it gives her. At nineteen she won a model contest and she became 'Model Talent of the Year 2007'.
But she knew more than anyone that education comes first, so she graduated high school with good grades and went to the Graphic Lyceum in Rotterdam, studying Graphic Design - Fashion & Trends, like she always wanted.
She was so driven that she got nominated in 2007 for the Student Awards, and she became ´Runner up Student Of The Year´. At the same time, well-known and beautiful photographer, Nicoline Patricia Malina approached her for the Iconique Societas Fashion Photography Awards, which they incinerating enough also won.
Two days after she graduated the Graphic Lyceum she moved to Paris, where she worked the whole summer as a model. After Paris, London and Athens came next, and now, she's traveling around."
Well, that's not completely true, actually. I am at home right now - in the Netherlands and it's raining cats and dogs. :-)
Anyway - I'm working here as a freelancer, so I cannot complain. My latest work, an editorial I've made with fashion photographer Liberty Milano (owner of Ragazza Model Management and a photographer for IMG Worldwide);

and an art piece I call "STAINED"

That's it for now. Need to check out how all of these things work. :-)
